The Type 58 Magazine Pouch is a canvas magazine pouch of North Korean origin.

Overview

The Type 58 magazine pouch is intended to carry up to three 30 round 7.62×39mm magazines for the Type 58 assault rifle and the Type 68 assault rifle. However, it can also carry the 30 round 5.45x39mm magazines for the Type 88 and Type 90 assault rifle. It is made of canvas, and has a sling in order to be carried, it can be attached to a belt also.

In addition to the three magazine pockets, it has also two compartments, possibly for grenades.
