The Storm are leather gloves of Russian origin.

Overview

The Storm (Russian: Штурм) are SWAT type gloves made of leather. They are produced by the Russian company SPLAV in three different variations.

Variants

Half Finger Gloves Storm

Designated simply as "Half finger gloves Storm" (Russian: Полуперчатки Storm). They are fingerless as suggested by the designation and their most distinct feature is the large reinforcement insert which is divided into four sections and is intended to protect the back of the palm. There are also small inserts for protection of the proximal phalanx bones. All inserts are made of polyurethane foam. The gloves also have velcro strap for adjusting the wrists.

Half Finger Gloves Storm Model 2

Designated as "Half finger gloves Storm Model 2" (Russian: Полуперчатки "Штурм" (мод.2)). The major difference compared to the previous variant is that there are two inserts for protection of the back of the palm, one larger and one narrower. The wrist velcro strap is also of simplified shape.
