The Delta is a winter jacket of Russian origin.[3][4][5][6][7]

Overview[]

The Delta jacket is a windproof and waterproof winter jacket manufactured by the Russian company SPLAV. These jackets are made in two materials called "Oxford" (Оксфорд) and "Tourist" (Турист). Oxford material is 100% nylon with PU coating while Tourist is 100% polyacrylic with polyamide coating. The insulation is made of synthetic fiber padding polyester (300 g/m2) known as synthepon (синтепон) which does not absorb moisture and can be washed frequently.

The jacket has two breast pockets, one pocket under the radio, two pockets at the lower section and one inner pocket. It is fastened by zipper, which has covering flap. The breast pockets and the zipper flap are fastened with snap fasteners. The waistline and the cuffs are adjustable in size using additional snap fasteners which helps to prevent the penetration of cold air. Shoulder straps also fastened by snap fasteners are present on the jacket. The jacket can be fitted with a hood or faux fur collar.
