The Kanady vz. 90 (Combat boot pattern 1990) were a combat boots of Czechoslovak (ČSSR) origin. They were designed and introduced in the early 1990s, just after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia and the fall of the Eastern bloc, and were intended for the newly formed Czech and Slovakian armies replacing the older, vz. 60, vz. 62 and vz. 72 double buckle boots, which were used until then.

The vz. 90 were essentially the same design as the previous (vz. 72) model, with only the upper side buckling section removed and just replaced with ten (five by five) metallic slots for laces until the upper end of the boot. Everything else remained roughly the same as found in vz. 72 - including even the distinctive twelve reinforcement screw sole.

However, in contrast to its predecessor, the new vz. 90 boots featured a winter model together with the standard summer one. The winter model had fur-filled insided, between the two layers of leather.

The vz. 90 were produced exactly for ten years; from 1990 until 2000, when they were replaced in production with all out new design, the vz. 2000 combat boots (featuring Gore tex lining) which were adopted for both Czech and Slovakian Armed Forces in the same year and are still used to this day.
